Quapaw Tribal Settlement Act of 2025

This bill sets up a special trust account and provides money to settle certain legal claims between the federal government and the Quapaw Nation, a tribe in Oklahoma. The account would be managed by a part of the Department of the Interior, and payments would go to the tribe and its individual members based on a January 2020 recommendation from a federal court. The bill also lays out the rules for how the settlement money would be distributed.
