Technical Corrections to the Northwestern New Mexico Rural Water Projects Act, Taos Pueblo Indian Water Rights Settlement Act, and Aamodt Litigation Settlement Act

This bill allows the government to deposit money representing unpaid interest into three water-related trust funds that belong to the Navajo Nation, Taos Pueblo, and certain other Pueblo communities. These funds were originally set up in 2009 and 2010 as part of water rights settlement agreements, but those agreements did not allow the funds to earn interest. This bill fixes that by authorizing deposits to make up for the interest that was not previously allowed to build up.
