Guard and Reserve GI Bill Parity Act of 2025

This bill would make it easier for members of the military Reserves and National Guard to qualify for education benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Right now, generally only federal active duty service counts toward earning those benefits. The bill would change that by also counting other types of service, such as inactive-duty training, annual training duty, and full-time National Guard duty, toward eligibility for educational assistance.
