Independent and Objective Oversight of Ukrainian Assistance Act

This bill creates a special watchdog office to keep track of how U.S. money sent to Ukraine for military, economic, and humanitarian aid is being spent. The office would conduct audits and investigations, review contracts, and report to the Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense. Government agencies cannot block the office from doing its work, but the office is not allowed to investigate intelligence agencies. The office would shut down 180 days after less than $250 million is left unspent for Ukraine's reconstruction.
