Voluntary Public Access Improvement Act of 2025

This bill extends funding through 2029 and increases the budget for a program that gives grants to state and tribal governments. These grants are used to encourage private landowners — such as farmers, ranchers, and forest owners — to open up their land for public hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. The bill also continues funding to encourage public access to land that is set aside for wetland conservation.
