RESTORE Patent Rights Act of 2025

This bill would make it so that when a court finds someone has violated a patent, the patent owner would be presumed to deserve a court order stopping the infringing activity, unless the other side can prove otherwise. Currently, based on a 2006 Supreme Court decision, patent owners do not automatically get such a court order when someone is found to have infringed their patent. This bill would shift the starting point in favor of patent owners by creating that presumption.
