Increasing Access to Quality Cardiac Rehabilitation Care Act of 2025

This bill changes Medicare rules so that physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialists can run cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Right now, these health care providers may not be allowed to do things like create treatment plans or prescribe exercise for these programs. The bill would let them do those tasks in their own offices, giving Medicare patients more options for where they can get this type of care.
