Ethan's Law

This bill, called Ethan's Law, creates rules about how guns must be stored in homes. It requires firearms to be safely stored if a child could get to them without permission or if someone living in the home is not legally allowed to have a gun. If someone breaks these rules, they could face criminal charges, and the gun could be taken away. The bill also provides money through grants to help state and tribal governments set up the same kind of safe storage rules.
