Ag Disputes Act

This bill creates a special team made up of people from the Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Trade Representative's office to find and deal with rules in other countries that make it harder to sell American farm products abroad. The team is required to figure out which foreign trade barriers break existing trade agreements, come up with a plan to enforce those agreements, and find other countries willing to join the U.S. in challenging those barriers. The team must also send regular reports to Congress, and its first report must include a plan for formally challenging India's government support payments to its farmers through the World Trade Organization.
