Kids’ Access to Primary Care Act of 2025

This bill changes how doctors get paid for providing basic medical care to people on Medicaid by making sure those payments are at least as high as what Medicare pays. It also expands this payment rule to cover more types of doctors, such as obstetricians. On top of that, the bill requires a government study to look at how many children are on Medicaid, how many doctors are providing primary care to them, and how payment rates change after the bill goes into effect.
