Critical Minerals Security Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of the Interior to regularly report on the world's supply of critical minerals and rare earth elements, including who owns and controls those resources. It also requires Interior to help Americans who want to sell their stakes in foreign mining or recycling operations find buyers that are not controlled by North Korea, China, Russia, or Iran. Additionally, the bill directs Interior to create a plan for working with U.S. allies to develop better mining and recycling technologies and to share related knowledge so those partner countries can use the technologies to develop their own resources.
