EPIC Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules for a program where Medicare negotiates the prices of certain prescription drugs. Under current rules, regular drugs must have been on the market for at least 7 years before Medicare can negotiate their prices. This bill would increase that waiting period to at least 11 years for regular drugs, matching the current requirement for biological products, with the change starting in 2028.
