Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act of 2025

This bill extends funding through 2030 for a program that currently helps rescue marine mammals and expands it to also cover sea turtles. The new grants can be used to rescue, treat, and care for sick, injured, or trapped sea turtles, as well as to collect data from stranded sea turtles for scientific research. The bill also allows the money to go toward running rescue facilities and building new ones in areas where they don't exist or are hard to find. Finally, it creates a special fund called the Sea Turtle Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Rapid Response Fund.
