Native ELDER Act

This bill focuses on helping Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian people aged 60 and older. It creates a special advisory committee to give advice on issues affecting older Native Americans and updates training and grant programs for tribal organizations that provide services to this group. The bill also asks the government to prioritize grants that help pay for home modifications so older Native Americans can continue living in their own homes. Finally, it requires several government reports to Congress on topics like caregiving programs, the need for home modifications, barriers tribes face in accessing programs, and how job training programs are serving older Native Americans.
