Tariff Transparency Act of 2025

This bill requires the U.S. International Trade Commission to study and report to Congress on the effects of additional tariffs placed on imports from Canada and Mexico, including a 25% tariff on most goods and a 10% tariff on Canadian energy. The report must look at how these tariffs affect prices for consumers, how any response from Canada and Mexico (like their own tariffs on U.S. goods) affects American consumers, small businesses, farmers, and ranchers, and how the uncertainty around these tariffs affects trade relationships and U.S. businesses.
