A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relative to limiting the number of terms that a Member of Congress may serve.

This proposal would add a change to the Constitution that limits how long someone can serve in Congress. Senators would be limited to two terms, and members of the House of Representatives would be limited to three terms. For this change to take effect, two-thirds of Congress would need to approve it, and then three-fourths of state legislatures would need to agree to it within seven years.
