A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Trichloroethylene (TCE); Regulation Under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)".

This resolution would cancel an Environmental Protection Agency rule that bans a chemical called trichloroethylene, or TCE. The EPA rule had prohibited the making, importing, processing, selling, and industrial or commercial use of TCE for all purposes, including consumer uses. If this resolution passes, that ban would no longer be in effect.
