A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services relating to "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; Marketplace Integrity and Affordability".

This resolution would cancel a rule put out by the government on June 25, 2025, that made several changes to how people sign up for health insurance through the marketplace. The canceled rule would have set stricter sign-up periods, required marketplaces to check whether most new enrollees actually qualify before they sign up during special periods, and blocked DACA recipients from getting coverage through the marketplace or certain state health programs for low-income people. The rule also would have stopped individual and small group health insurance plans from covering certain sex-trait modification procedures as a required benefit.
