A resolution providing for sufficient time for legislation to be read.

This resolution creates a rule that gives Senators time to read a bill before it can be voted on. For every 20 pages in a bill, at least one full day must pass after the bill is introduced before the Senate can consider it. If a Senator objects because not enough time has passed, it would take a vote of at least three-fifths of all Senators to override that objection and move forward anyway.
