A resolution condemning the Government of Iran's state-sponsored persecution of the Baha'i minority and its continued violation of the International Covenants on Human Rights.

This resolution speaks out against Iran for mistreating people who follow the Baha'i religion and for breaking international human rights agreements. It asks Iran to free Baha'is and others who are locked up just because of their religion, stop spreading hateful messages about Baha'is, and change policies that treat Baha'is and other religious minorities unfairly. It also asks the President and the Department of State to put penalties on Iranian officials and others responsible for serious human rights abuses, including those against the Baha'i community.
