Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities in Lebanon.

This resolution tells the President to pull U.S. military forces out of any fighting in Lebanon within seven days after the resolution is approved. It also makes clear that this does not stop the U.S. from working with Lebanon's own military or from protecting U.S. diplomatic buildings in the country.
