Securing Strictly Needy Americans’ Pivotal (SNAP) Benefits Act of 2025

This bill creates new rules for SNAP food assistance benefits. If someone uses their SNAP card only in other states for more than 60 days, their state must suspend their account until they prove they still live in that state or an investigation confirms they do. The bill also stops SNAP recipients from using their benefits at stores they own themselves, unless the store is owned by a public company or the government.
