Billion Dollar Boondoggle Act

This bill requires federal agencies to report information to the Office of Management and Budget about government-funded projects that are more than five years behind schedule or have gone at least $1 billion over their original cost estimate. Agencies would need to explain why the projects are delayed or over budget, describe any changes to the project, and report any bonuses paid out in connection with the project. The Office of Management and Budget would then be required to put together a yearly report with all of this information and share it with Congress and post it on its website.
