Sgt. Isaac Woodard, Jr. and Sgt. Joseph H. Maddox GI Bill Restoration Act of 2025

This bill makes certain Black veterans from World War II and their family members eligible for GI Bill education benefits and VA home loans. To qualify, the veterans must be able to prove they were denied these benefits because of their race when they originally served. The eligible family members include living spouses, children, grandchildren, and other direct descendants of these veterans. People who qualify must apply within five years after the bill becomes law, and the government will study how many people use these benefits and how much they cost.
