WOSB Accountability Act

This bill changes the rules for how the government counts women-owned small businesses when tracking whether federal agencies meet their contracting goals. Only women-owned small businesses that have been officially certified by a federal agency, state government, or an approved certifying organization would count toward these goals. Businesses that have applied for certification but haven't received a decision yet would still be counted as certified until a final determination is made. The Small Business Administration must give quarterly briefings about how the certification process works and how the new requirements are being implemented.
