CALL Act

This bill tells the National Agricultural Statistics Service to study conservation practices on rented farmland. The study must look at things like participation in conservation programs and what stops farmers from using conservation practices. The study must pay special attention to farmers and ranchers who are people of color, including Black and indigenous farmers, as well as new farmers and ranchers. The agency can work with outside groups like nonprofits or universities to do this study.
