Climate Agricultural Conservation Practices Act

This bill requires the Natural Resources Conservation Service to think about climate benefits when they review or change their conservation practice standards. Climate benefits include reducing greenhouse gas emissions from farms, increasing carbon storage, or helping deal with changing weather patterns. The Natural Resources Conservation Service runs most of the Department of Agriculture's conservation programs that help farmers and landowners practice conservation on their land, and their standards provide guidance and minimum quality requirements for conservation practices that receive federal funding.
