Improving Coordination of Agriculture Research and Data Act

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to create two new groups: an Agriculture Climate Scientific Research Advisory Committee and a Rural Climate Alliance Network. The advisory committee will review and make recommendations about the agency's policies for collecting climate data and conducting climate research related to farming. The Rural Climate Alliance Network will coordinate climate research, data, and technical help for farmers, ranchers, foresters, and others in agriculture. The Department of Agriculture must also write a report for Congress that includes a long-term plan for helping agricultural producers deal with climate change challenges.
