Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to increase several types of payments to veterans and their families by the same percentage that Social Security benefits increase on December 1, 2025. The payments that would go up include disability compensation for veterans injured during wartime, extra money for veterans' dependents, clothing allowances for certain disabled veterans, and compensation for surviving spouses and children of deceased veterans. The VA would also be allowed to make similar increases to disability payments for people who haven't received compensation for service-connected injuries or deaths before.
