Seizure Awareness and Preparedness Act

This bill would give the Department of Education money to award grants to states, which would then give smaller grants to local school districts. The school districts must use this money to train school staff about seizure awareness and how to be prepared when students have seizures. The training would cover individual health care plans and emergency health care plans for students who have epilepsy or seizure disorders.
