Restore Protections for Dialysis Patients Act

This bill sets rules for private health insurance companies about how they cover people with end stage renal disease (ESRD) who also have Medicare. Insurance companies cannot limit benefits or change their network of doctors in ways that treat ESRD patients differently from other patients. However, insurance companies are not required to include specific dialysis providers or a certain number of dialysis providers in their networks.
