Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians Land Transfer Act of 2025

This bill transfers about 204 acres of land in El Dorado County, California, into trust for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. The land comes from two sources: about 85 acres of federal land currently managed by government agencies (including land that will be moved from the Forest Service to the Department of the Interior), and about 119 acres that the tribe already owns. Once transferred into trust, this combined land will become part of the tribe's reservation, but gambling will not be allowed on it.
