FAIR Act

This bill says that hospitals receiving Medicare funding for training new doctors must report information about their residency programs, including how many applicants come from osteopathic medical schools and allopathic medical schools, how many from each type are accepted, and whether the hospital fairly considers applicants from both types of schools. Hospitals that don't provide this information would have their Medicare training payments reduced by 2%. The information collected would be posted on a public website for anyone to see.
