FRIDGE Act of 2025

This bill expands a government program that helps promote U.S. farm exports to include funding for technical assistance with infrastructure projects. The goal is to prevent U.S. farm products from being damaged or lost because of poor infrastructure in new and developing foreign markets. The bill directs the Foreign Agricultural Service to make agreements with trade organizations to help improve infrastructure capabilities like cold storage systems and port facilities in these markets through needs assessments, training, and other technical help.
