Raise the Age Act of 2025

This bill would make it illegal for licensed gun dealers and other firearms sellers to sell certain semiautomatic rifles and shotguns to people under 21 years old, specifically those guns that can hold more than five rounds of ammunition. There are exceptions for full-time law enforcement officers and active-duty military members who are under 21. The bill also requires the FBI to put out a report about how its public tip line works, including how it shares information and how those processes could be improved.
