No Harm Act

This bill would stop federal money from going to medical treatments that change the physical characteristics of a person's biological sex when performed on minors. The bill makes exceptions for treating certain medical conditions, severe injuries, or complications from previous treatments. It would also prevent federal funding for schools that allow staff to provide or support such treatments without parents' permission. The bill protects doctors who refuse to perform these treatments and gives parents the right to say no to such treatments for their children. States that require doctors to provide these treatments or don't require parental consent could lose some federal funding. People could sue healthcare providers for harm from these treatments or for not getting parental permission first.
