Protecting Taxpayer Resources Act

This bill says that workers at the IRS cannot be given Department of Homeland Security jobs, like immigration enforcement, unless a special inspector first confirms two things. First, the IRS workers must be properly trained for those tasks. Second, giving them those tasks must not get in the way of the IRS doing its regular job of enforcing tax laws and helping taxpayers.
