Arts Education for All Act

This bill aims to bring more arts education to children and adults in several settings. It allows childcare funding to be used for arts programs and requires states and school districts to include plans for arts education in their schools, hire more arts teachers, and report on arts courses being offered. The bill also calls for research and data collection on how arts education is used in schools, especially in low-performing ones. Finally, it requires states to include arts programs in their plans for helping young people in the juvenile justice system and allows grants for programs that help adult offenders reenter society to be spent on arts education.
