Direct Seller and Real Estate Agent Harmonization Act

This bill would make it so that real estate agents and direct sellers of consumer products are not counted as employees under a law called the Fair Labor Standards Act. That law normally requires employers to pay their workers at least the minimum wage and to pay extra for working more than 40 hours a week. Under this bill, these workers would not be covered by those requirements.
