Second Chance Reauthorization Act of 2025

This bill renews funding through 2030 for several federal grant programs that help people transition back into their communities after being in jail or prison. These grants go to state, local, and tribal governments, nonprofits, and service providers for things like job training, education in jails and prisons, substance abuse treatment for families, mentoring, and programs for both adults and young people reentering society.
