Cost-Share Accountability Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Energy to report on how it uses its power to reduce or eliminate the requirement that non-federal partners help pay for certain energy projects. These projects involve research, development, demonstration, and commercial application activities under a 2005 energy law. The Department of Energy must submit the first report within 120 days of this bill becoming law and then provide updates at least every three months.
