Tribal Gaming Regulatory Compliance Act

This bill would change the rules about gambling for two Native American tribes in Texas — the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo and the Alabama-Coushatta tribes. Right now, these tribes are not allowed to run gambling activities on their land if Texas law doesn't allow them. This bill would remove that restriction and instead put their gambling activities under a federal law called the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, which is the same law that governs gambling on tribal lands across the country.
