Expanding Access to Diabetes Self-Management Training Act of 2025

This bill changes Medicare coverage for diabetes self-management training. Currently, only doctors can provide this training, but the bill would let other healthcare workers provide it too. Medicare would cover up to 10 hours of initial training and 2 additional hours each year. The government could not limit training that doctors say patients need, and Medicare would test offering the training online to see how it affects costs and patient health.
