NRC Office of Public Engagement and Participation Act of 2025

This bill creates a new independent office inside the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that would speak up for the public's interests and help people take part in NRC meetings and decisions. The bill also allows the NRC to pay for certain costs, like lawyer fees and expert witness fees, for people who would have a hard time affording to participate in NRC proceedings on their own.
