Advancing Maternal Health Equity Under Medicaid Act

This bill would increase federal funding for states that spend more on Medicaid maternal health care than they did in 2019. The federal government would pay 90% of these extra costs. The services must be provided by maternity care providers or perinatal health workers like doulas. Covered services include prenatal and postpartum telehealth visits, home visits, and behavioral health care.
