Fire Sale Loophole Closing Act of 2025

This bill sets rules about what happens to the guns in a licensed firearms dealer's inventory when their license is taken away or denied. It stops dealers from moving those guns into their personal collection or giving them to employees after being told their license is revoked or denied, and it prevents former dealers from selling those guns to unlicensed people. Anyone who breaks these rules could face a fine, up to one year in prison, or up to five years if they did it on purpose. The bill also requires that the notice revoking or denying a license must explain the laws about these restrictions to the former dealer.
