ePermit Act

This bill requires the government to create digital systems for environmental reviews that are currently done under a 1969 environmental law. The Council on Environmental Quality must develop standards for collecting and organizing data from these reviews, build testing tools, and provide guidance to other agencies. Federal agencies that do environmental reviews must follow these new digital standards and share data automatically with each other. The goal is to create a unified online system where all agencies can access the same information through a shared digital portal. The Council must test this system within a year and have the full unified system working by December 2027.
