Enhancing Geothermal Production on Federal Lands Act

This bill would allow certain geothermal energy projects on federal land to skip environmental reviews that are normally required by law. It covers small-scale exploration projects, like drilling test wells, as long as they meet specific limits on size and duration. It also removes the environmental review requirement for related activities like studying the land, driving off-road in approved areas, and building or fixing access roads in those same areas.
