United States Cadet Nurse Corps Service Recognition Act of 2025

This bill says that people who served in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps between July 1, 1943, and December 31, 1948, would have their service counted as active duty military service. This would give them honorary veteran status and certain burial benefits, but not burial at Arlington National Cemetery or most other veterans' benefits. The Department of Defense would be required to issue them an honorable discharge if their service warrants it, and would be allowed to create a service medal, memorial plaque, or grave marker to honor them.
