Crow Tribe Water Rights Settlement Amendments Act of 2025

This bill changes a 2010 water rights agreement between the Crow Tribe of Montana and the state of Montana. The original agreement allowed the Bureau of Reclamation to work on two major water projects on the Crow Reservation: fixing up the Crow Irrigation Project and building a water system for towns, rural areas, and industries. The bill makes several changes, including creating new accounts to manage money for these projects, changing how one of the water systems is referred to, and giving the Crow Tribe five more years (until 2030) to have the exclusive right to build power facilities at the Yellowtail Afterbay Dam.
